Job Overview

This is the ideal position for a recent graduate/college leaver looking to enter the shipping industry. It would also suit those from a call centre or Administration background.

The main duties of a Trainee Import Administrator are;

  • Full end to end import procedures
  • Receiving and processing shipping documentation
  • Issuing notices of arrival
  • Providing customers clearance instructions
  • Liaising with colleagues and clients worldwide
  • Arranging deliveries as and when required
  • Processing purchase orders and raising invoices
  • Updating and managing the internal systems
