Merseyside Youth Assocation (MYA) is a Liverpool-based organisation that creates positive and lasting change for the lives of young people across the city and they’re currently recruiting for eight new roles.  

MYA delivers a wide range of early intervention, prevention projects and workforce development across Merseyside and this could be your chance to join them in 2022.  

The roles are varied and best suited for people with prior experience in health work, youth work or a background in education.  

Detached Youth Work Team Leader 

  • Fixed term funded to 31 January 2024, with the potential to be extended to 31 January 2026 
  • £23,469 – £26,769 per annum - MYA Scale 5 
  • May include some evening and weekend work

Detached Youth Worker 

  • Fixed term funded to 31 January 2024, with the potential to be extended to 31 January 2026 
  • £20,173 – £22,381 per annum - MYA Scale 4 

There are two different contracts available with multiple vacancies for each:  

  • 20 hours per week- multiple posts  
  • 12 hours per week- multiple posts
