Upcoming events

Reach into Health and Social Care!

We’ve partnered with Employability Solutions to deliver our next industry day; 'Reach into Health and Social Care'. Come along to find out about the career paths that are available within the sector. It’s such a broad area and an industry where no two days will be the same!

The event is open to all ages so, join us at Reach on Wednesday 6 July at 10am. Places are limited, so send us an email at reach@southliverpoolhomes.co.uk to attend.

Meet our community of training and support providers

There are lots of different people who visit Reach on a daily and weekly basis, with the aim of helping you find work or figure out your next steps. But it can be overwhelming knowing who the best person is to speak to and how they can help.

To introduce some of the different faces you might see in Reach, we spoke to Sharon from Transform Lives Company (TLC) to shed a bit of light on the different ways TLC can help you.

  • Tell us a bit more about Transform Lives Company and what you offer?

Transform Lives Company offers personal and professional support for individuals and organisations. You can book a timeslot with me for 1-2-1 coaching or take part in one of our group training sessions.

We offer coaching in life skills, wellbeing and confidence so you start feeling happier. We have a range of training programmes that you can join. Our aim is to provide person-focused, life-changing developmental support.

  • Have you had any success stories recently that you can share with us?

Yes, I’ve recently helped someone get a dyslexia diagnosis, register for further education, reduce their anxiety and increase confidence in themselves and their ability to succeed.

  • How does it feel when you help turn someone’s life around/help them achieve their goals?

It’s a privilege to be involved in someone’s journey. It involves trust and respect to support someone to reach their goals and it feels amazing!

  • What would you say to someone who didn’t feel confident coming along to speak to you or wasn’t sure if you could help?

I understand how you feel and all the people I work with have felt the same. There’s no pressure to do anything you don’t want to. This is your choice; we can just have a cup of tea and chat.
